1 Corinthians 2:7 - But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.
Those who receive the Doctrine of Christ as Divine and are enlightened by the Holy Ghost, see not only the history of Christ and His crucifixion but also the Divine Wisdom therein. It is the mystery made manifest to the Saints. Though formerly hidden in distant prophecies, it is now revealed and made known. There are many things people wouldn’t do if they had Godly Wisdom. We must take the Scriptures as the Holy Ghost reveals them. True Wisdom comes by way of the Holy Ghost. He knows all things, and searches all things, even the deep things of God. No one can know the things of God, but by the Holy Ghost, who is one with the Father and the Son, and who makes known Divine mysteries to the Church. We can’t allow ourselves to be guided by worldly understanding or enticing words of man's wisdom.
Psalms 25:14 – The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant.
Those Spiritually dark can’t see the light. The light is with those that fear the Lord and keep His Covenant. We value a promise by the character of Him that made it; thus we know we can depend upon God's promises. They are all Merciful and True. If you have an eye to see you will clearly see His Word being fulfilled.
Ephesians 1:9 - Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself.
Mysteries and secrets would have been otherwise hidden from us if not made known by the Written Word AND the Spirit of Truth. For this we were made and for this we were Redeemed. He will lead whom He pleases to see the Glory of those Truths, while others will be left in the dark. He will reveal all secrets in due time as it pleases Him.
Ephesians 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
Preaching the Doctrine of Truth won’t make us popular. The Gospel is the means by which the Spirit works in the Soul of men. In the subsequence years since Christ was crucified even more secrets have been made clear. When the time is right, there will yet be more. Saints adore the Wisdom of God. The mystery of the Gospel was not revealed clearly until the Church was established this side of the dark ages.
Colossians 1:26 - Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints.
Though desiring more of God, we never desire more than God. The Righteous both hear and understand the message and their life produces fruit to prove it. The key to interpreting the Word is to rightly divide it with the right Spirit of understanding. The Righteous are the only people to whom God gives the knowledge. In the Holy Scriptures, the mind of Christ and the mind of God are fully made known to us.
1 Corinthians 2:14 – But the natural man received not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
No one can know the things of God, but through the Holy Ghost, who is one with the Father and the Son. The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God. Carnal reasoning opposes the Truth. God doesn’t reveal the Truth to the unrighteous. He will make known the mysteries of the Gospel.
The magnificent treasure of God’s revealed Truth is only accessible to the Saints. He will open their eyes that they may see the light. Very soon time will be no more; but those who persevere till the very end, a happy Eternity will follow. While we compare the Scriptures with the state of the world and the Church, the sweetness is mingled with bitterness. The mysteries of God will all be made known just as He foretold. Unbelievers will marvel in amazement at this display of Power and Glory. Ultimately all will acknowledge Him as Lord whether willingly or not. An enormous privilege has been granted to those that He chooses to reveal that which was previously unknown.
